C Programmer

Our client is seeking a skilled C Programmer to join their development team. This role is suited to a detail-oriented developer with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for building reliable, high-performance software solutions.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C

• Analyse business and technical requirements to deliver effective software solutions

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Develop and integrate software components and system interfaces

• Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle

• Support system enhancements, maintenance, and issue resolution

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience developing applications using C

• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices

• Experience with debugging, performance optimisation, and problem-solving

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

• Understanding of version control systems such as Git

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Experience with Linux or Unix-based environments

• Exposure to embedded systems, networking, or systems programming

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

• Experience working in Agile environments
