Shift Work Required

Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced Effluent Plant Operator for a well-established manufacturing operation in East London.

Grade 12 (Matric)

Relevant effluent plant, water treatment, manufacturing, or maintenance experience

Energetic, reliable, and self-motivated

Willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required

Strong commitment to safety and housekeeping standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the recycle water plant
  • Monitor and maintain pumps, filters, and effluent systems
  • Empty and clean effluent bins, filter presses, and holding bins
  • Maintain accurate daily operational records
  • Clean decanter machines, starch pits, and effluent pits as scheduled
  • Ensure oil and chemical stores remain clean and organised
  • Adhere to all site safety and housekeeping standards
  • Support the efficient operation of the effluent treatment process
