Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Technician to join our team to support a company based in Los Angeles, California, USA. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This position requires an individual who can work independently, collaborate effectively with team members, and continuously develop their technical skills to support evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

End-User Support

• Provide timely and effective technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and software applications.

• Respond to support requests through the help desk ticketing system, email, Microsoft Teams, phone calls.

• Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting users with technical issues.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365-related issues.

• Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining ownership and communication throughout the resolution process.

• Document support activities, solutions, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Support and administer Microsoft 365 services, including, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and user account management.

• Assist with user onboarding, offboarding.

• Help maintain best practices for Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and user management.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Work effectively both independently and as part of the IT team to resolve issues and complete projects.

• Collaborate with IT leadership to implement new technologies and improve existing systems and processes.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and actively pursue opportunities to learn new skills and improve existing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT support, desktop support, or systems support role.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing positively to a team environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patient, professional and friendly demeanour with a customer-focused approach.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Experience with Windows operating systems
