Diesel mechanic

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Dundee Feedlot in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, diagnosis, and repair of a diverse fleet of equipment, including trucks, light vehicles, earth-moving machinery, tractors, and agricultural implements. This hands-on role is critical to ensure the reliability and operational efficiency of our farming and feedlot operations through preventative maintenance, fault finding, and timely breakdown repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components, with a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and minimizing equipment downtime.

Qualifications

Matric certificate (Grade 12)

• Qualification as Diesel Mechanic – Red seal
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Experience on tractors, farm implements, trucks, and earth moving equipment
• Must be prepared to work overtime, weekends, public holidays and do standby.
• Must be willing to relocate.
• Good health
• Valid driver’s licence
• Code 14 licence to your advantage
• Own reliable transport.
