Administrator In the Department of Computer Science - (Grade: 09)

The Department of Computer Science invite suitably qualified candidates to join their team.

Main Objectives

The purpose of this job is to provide financial, student and departmental administrative services for the staff and students of the Computer Science and Information Systems Departments.

The Requirements

Grade 12 plus approximately 4 years’ relevant experience where such experience includes: -

  • A thorough understanding of financial management and accounting principles, with the ability to consolidate sets of accounts in the required format/s. The ability to investigate, correlate and reconcile multiple accounts is essential.
  • Previous experience in working within a computerised accounting environment and having worked with Excel at an advanced level.
  • Previous experience in working with word processing, e-mail and the internet.
  • Previous experience in setting up and maintaining filing and administrative systems.
  • Approximately 1 year’s supervision experience OR having deputised previously (does not have to be concurrent) OR an RU Supervision Certificate.

Remuneration per annum (Grade 09)

Basic Pensionable Salary per annum: R324 203

Cost to Company per annum (Approximately): R445 208
