Minimum Qualifications

Essential

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.

- Professional accounting qualification (SAIPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).

Preferred

- BCom Honours in Accounting or Financial Management.

- Postgraduate qualification in Employee Benefits or Pension Fund Management (advantageous).

Experience

- Minimum 5–10 years’ accounting or financial management experience.

- At least 3 years’ experience within the retirement fund, employee benefits or financial services

environment.

- Experience reviewing investment statements and investment management fees.

- Experience reviewing service provider contracts and invoices.

- Experience preparing Board financial reports.

- Experience working with outsourced Fund Administrators, Investment Managers

- Experience supporting governance structures within a retirement fund.
