A leading private hospital in Gauteng is seeking an experienced PICU Qualified Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to critically ill paediatric patients. This opportunity is suited to nursing professionals with a post-basic qualification in Critical Care – Child Nursing Science and proven experience within a paediatric hospital environment.

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill paediatric patients in PICU.
• Monitor and assess patients' clinical condition and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medication and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
• Assist with advanced critical care procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Provide compassionate, family-centred care to paediatric patients and their families.

• Post-Basic Qualification in Critical Care – Child Nursing Science (essential).
• Diploma/Degree in General Nursing.
• Current SANC Registration.
• Minimum 3+ years' hospital experience within a Paediatric environment.
• Proven experience caring for critically ill paediatric patients.
• Strong clinical knowledge of paediatric critical care nursing.
• Experience within a private hospital environment will be advantageous.
