Head of Legal

We are looking for an experienced Head of Legal to join one of our clients in the UK recruitment and workforce solutions industry.

You’ll support the business across employment law, contracts and compliance, helping teams manage legal matters, reduce risk and make sure the right processes are followed

• Advising teams on employment law and legal matters.
• Managing employment disputes, claims and settlement agreements.
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating client and supplier contracts.
• Supporting compliance across suppliers and umbrella companies.
• Helping with overseas worker and right-to-work requirements.
• Providing guidance on areas such as IR35, GDPR and industry regulations.
• Keeping the business updated on relevant changes in legislation.
• Improving contract and compliance processes.
• Providing legal guidance and training to teams across the business.

• Strong experience in UK employment law and commercial contracts.
• Good understanding of the recruitment or workforce solutions industry.
• Experience managing employment claims and disputes.
• Strong contract drafting, reviewing and negotiation experience.
• Previous experience leading or managing within a legal function.
• Confident providing clear and practical legal advice.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organised, detail-focused and comfortable working independently.
