Online Sales Consultant (Glen Anil)

Growing, dynamic and inovative manufacturing company based in Durban North has an amazing opportunity for an Online Sales Consultant. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of online orders and customer enquiries, while also helping to develop and grow the online division

The successful candidate will become knowledgeable about their products and customers and play an important role in ensuring that every customer receives a professional, efficient and positive experience.

• Process and manage daily online orders.
• Respond to customer enquiries via email, telephone and other communication channels.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
• Prepare and send customer quotations.
• Deal with walk-in sales
• Monitor orders from placement through to fulfilment and delivery.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and customer queries.
• Assist customers with product selection, availability and general product information.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are processed correctly and efficiently.
• Identify customer needs and potential opportunities to improve the online customer experience.
• Assist with the general administration and development of the Online department.
• Learn and maintain a strong knowledge of the products offered.

• Friendly, professional and confident when dealing with customers.
• Organised and able to manage multiple orders and enquiries simultaneously.
• Comfortable communicating with customers over the phone and via email.
• A quick learner with the ability to develop a strong understanding of our products.
• Proactive and able to identify problems before they become issues.
• Forward-thinking and entrepreneurial in their approach.
• Interested in being part of building and growing a new online department.
• Computer literate and comfortable working with online systems.
• Reliable, accurate and able to work independently.

Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms would be advantageous, but is not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Previous experience in customer service, sales administration, e-commerce, order processing
