An international mining equipment designer in Kempton Park is recruiting for an Electronic Systems Engineer. BEng (Electronic or Computer Engineering). Masters or Doctoral Level will be advantageous. 4-7 years’ experience in the electronic engineering field. Hardware and software R&D experience is non-negotiable.

  • BEng (Electronic or Computer Engineering). Masters or Doctoral Level will be advantageous.
  • 4-7 years’ experience in the electronic, engineering field
  • Hardware and software R&D experience (non-negotiable)
  • Gas detection technologies experience beneficial
  • Knowledge of Collision Warning and Detection technologies
  • SCADA & Instrumentation and Control
  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary environment (advantageous)

Required Competencies

  • Knowledge of the System Engineering Process and Configuration Management
  • Strong background in hardware or software R&D
  • Experienced in Configuration Management
  • Experienced with support ticketing systems and life cycle management.
  • Familiar with Atlassian – Confluence and JIRA.
