Client Accountant - Johannesburg

A well-established professional services firm is seeking a Client Accountant to join their team in Sandton, Johannesburg. This role is ideal for an experienced junior-level accountant who is comfortable managing the accounting requirements of a dedicated client while assisting with additional accounts when required.

• Managing the day-to-day accounting functions for a dedicated client
• Assisting with bookkeeping and accounting functions across the client’s accounts
• Processing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with payroll-related functions
• Completing and submitting e-filing requirements
• Ensuring accounting records and reconciliations are accurate and up to date
• Providing support across additional client accounts when required
• Maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines

• 5+ years of experience in a similar Client Accountant role
• Strong experience with Pastel Evolution
• Experience with Xero
• Payroll experience
• E-filing experience
• Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
• Ability to work independently and manage a client’s accounting requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
