We are looking for Cybersecurity Engineers with a strong technical background and a passion for information securityk across Johannesburg and Pretoria. We are interested in connecting with professionals who have experience protecting IT environments, identifying security risks, implementing security controls, and strengthening organisational cybersecurity.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in Cybersecurity / Information Security.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in:
    • Cybersecurity principles and best practices
    • Network security
    • Vulnerability management
    • Security monitoring and incident response
    • Firewalls and endpoint security
    • SIEM and security event monitoring
    • IDS/IPS technologies
    • Risk assessment and security controls
    • Windows and/or Linux security
    • TCP/IP and networking concepts
  • Strong understanding of information security frameworks, standards, and controls.
  • Experience with security incident investigation and remediation.
  • Experience identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent will be advantageous.
