Accountant - Johannesburg

Our client, based in Illovo, is looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to join their team. This role is suited to someone who is confident managing multiple clients, has strong bookkeeping skills and enjoys working independently within a professional environment.

• Perform bookkeeping for multiple clients on a monthly basis.
• Calculate and communicate VAT and provisional tax calculations and payments.
• Manage and maintain your own portfolio of clients.
• Assist clients with accounting and related queries.
• Travel to client sites when required.
• Work primarily from the office while maintaining regular client interaction.

• Relevant accounting qualification or experience.
• Strong bookkeeping experience.
• Good understanding of VAT and provisional tax.
• Tax knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Must be willing and able to travel to clients when required.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage your own client portfolio.
