Tax Consultant - Cape Town

Our client, a well-established accounting and tax practice based in Bellville, Cape Town, is seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with 5+ years’ relevant experience in a similar tax, accounting or finance role, who has strong client-facing skills and a solid understanding of tax compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, assisting with their tax-related requirements while ensuring accuracy, compliance and adherence to relevant deadlines.

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar tax, accounting or finance role

• Completed SAIPA / SAIT Articles or relevant experience in a similar role
• SAIT registration will be advantageous
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and related processes
• Strong communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and client requirements effectively
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Must be based in Cape Town or willing to relocate to Bellville
