Site Manager

Are you a hands-on construction leader who thrives on turning plans into successful developments?

Our client is a leading South African residential property development group delivering large-scale developments across the country. They are currently looking for an experienced and driven Site Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of construction projects in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong site-based professional with extensive construction experience to lead teams, manage subcontractors and resources, control costs and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience within the construction environment
• Education : BSc or NDip in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or a related field
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Foreman
• Proven experience working on residential properties
• Understanding of construction quality systems and testing procedures
• Knowledge of budgeting, P&G management and cost control principles

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, project planning and programme coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, plant and resources to maintain productivity and programme requirements.
• Monitor budgets, cost reporting, reconciliations and P&G expenditure.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, specifications and construction procedures
