Draughtsperson - Roads

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Draughtsperson with strong roads design experience to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate engineering drawings and supporting the delivery of civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering design and construction drawings for roads and related civil infrastructure.
• Develop and amend technical drawings in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards.
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate and practical drawing outputs.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure revisions are correctly incorporated.
• Assist with the preparation of drawings throughout the various stages of civil engineering projects.

Requirements

• National Diploma, National Certificate, Technical Qualification or equivalent qualification from a recognised South African tertiary institution.
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in civil engineering draughting.
• Proven roads design and draughting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Demonstrated experience preparing engineering design drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
