Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a hands-on role sitting across Business Intelligence, analytics engineering and modern cloud data. It would suit someone who has a strong BI/Power BI background but has also moved into the wider data and cloud stack.

The environment includes:

• Microsoft Fabric
• Power BI, DAX and semantic models
• OneLake, Lakehouse and Delta Lake
• Advanced SQL
• PySpark and Python
• Azure Synapse & Azure Data Factory
• Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CD

You’ll be building enterprise Power BI reporting and dashboards, developing trusted datasets and semantic models, working with stakeholders on KPIs and business insights, and building scalable data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.

They’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience across BI, Analytics Engineering or Data Analytics
• Strong Power BI, DAX and SQL
• Experience with data modelling and dimensional modelling
• Experience with PySpark/Python and modern data platforms
• Microsoft Fabric experience would be particularly relevant
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills

This could suit a Senior BI Developer, Senior Power BI Developer, Analytics Engineer or BI Engineer who wants to work further across the data engineering and cloud side.
