Are you a detail-driven Payroll Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the numbers right? We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Payroll Consultant to manage payroll data, reports, salary sheets, timesheets, deductions, exemptions, transfers, and payroll-related documentation. You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of payroll systems while ensuring all processes comply with governance requirements and deadlines.

What you'll do

  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
  • Maintaining accuracy and integrity of the payroll systems information.
  • Managing all payroll reports, time sheets, and other related documentation
  • Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving exemptions, deductions and job titles and transfers.
  • Manage, Maintain and update payroll related data.
  • Create and run salary sheets and reports
  • Monthly UIF Submissions
  • Ensure Directives are applied for with correct dates, amount and IRP5 codes
  • Maintaining accuracy and integrity of the payroll systems information.

Your Expertise

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role
  • Experience working in high pressurised and fast paced environments with tight deadlines
  • Following process / procedures as per Governance principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Advanced)
  • Proven experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Qualification Essential
    • Matric with Exemption or tertiary education
  • Qualifications preferred
    • Preferably a Payroll Administration or finance qualification
