Production Team Leader

We are seeking a Production Team Leader to join our client’s beverage manufacturing facility in Eastern Cape. If you have experience coordinating processes and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity apply for this vacancy

Role Responsibilities

• Lead production employees and coordinate daily operational activities
• Ensure production plans are followed and targets are met
• Monitor employee performance, productivity and attendance
• Ensure compliance with company production and quality procedures
• Identify bottlenecks and assist in resolving production challenges
• Monitor waste, material usage and production losses
• Conduct shift meetings and effective handovers
• Ensure production areas remain clean, safe and well organised
• Liaise with maintenance when machinery or equipment issues affect production
• Assist with implementing process improvements
• Maintain accurate production and shift documentation
• Escalate operational and personnel matters when required

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Operations Management Diploma advantageous
• 5 Years Production Team Leader experience
• Understanding of production, quality and safety principles
• Strong planning, organisational and decision-making skills
• Communication and interpersonal abilities
