We are seeking a Branch Manager in our Durban Seafreight Branch.
Key responsibilities
- Plan branch operations in terms of the requirements of the business environment
- Organise and optimise branch resources and provide leadership to staff
- Control and manage budget
- Sales and client servicing support
- Reporting and Compliance
- Comply with the requirements of the quality management system
Minimum qualification
• Grade 12 Certificate
• FIATA diploma or 3-year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 7 or equivalent
Minimum experience and knowledge:
- 10 years’ experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry with 3 years in a middle management capacity
Key competencies:
- Problem solving skills and decision-making skills
- Business Acumen
- Ability to prepare and/or analyse financial statements and budget
- Leadership skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills (written &verbal)
- Planning and organising
- Ability to handle pressure
- Change Management skills

- Knowledge of Freight Forwarding practices and processes
- Customer Centricity
- Computer literacy (Ms Word, Excel, VIP)
