A growing organisation is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their finance team in Stikland, Cape Town. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with hands-on experience across debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and accounting processes up to Trial Balance.

  • Managing debtors and creditors
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Performing costing reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Processing and reconciling accounting transactions
  • Assisting with month-end accounting processes
  • Working with financial information up to the point of Trial Balance
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Previous experience in a Junior Accountant or similar accounting role
  • Proficiency in Sage
  • Practical experience with debtors and creditors
  • Experience performing bank reconciliations
  • Experience with costing reconciliations
  • Ability to work with accounting records up to Trial Balance
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
