SAICA Trainee Accountant - Pretoria

A reputable accounting and auditing firm in Pretoria is looking for a SAICA Trainee to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual looking to gain practical experience, develop their technical skills and work towards completing their SAICA training contract.

• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Perform accounting and bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients.
• Assist with audit and assurance engagements.
• Prepare working papers and supporting documentation.
• Assist with tax-related calculations and submissions.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Communicate with clients and assist with resolving accounting-related queries.

• BCom Accounting, BCompt or a relevant accounting degree.
• Currently studying towards or eligible to pursue a SAICA training contract.
• Strong academic record.
• Good understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience within an accounting or audit environment will be advantageous.
