Welder / Gate Fabricator

An experienced fabrication role focused on the manufacture of gates and steel components used in Clearview Fencing projects.

R8,000 - R12,000 per month

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and fabricate gates to approved dimensions, specifications and job requirements.
• Fabricate fencing components, brackets, supports and related steelwork.
• Manufacture razor wire brackets and associated security-fencing components.
• Perform general MIG welding and steel fabrication.
• Measure, mark, cut, fit and assemble steel accurately.
• Read and work from measurements, sketches, job cards and production instructions.
• Check finished work for alignment, weld quality, dimensions and overall workmanship.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools and a safe, orderly fabrication work area.
• Assist with other steel-work manufacturing requirements as operationally required.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum five years of proven practical experience in welding and fabrication.
• Strong MIG welding and general steel fabrication ability.
• Accurate measuring and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently while meeting production and quality requirements.
