Duties and Responsibilities

Meat Cutters

• Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat according to company specifications.
• Prepare meat products for packaging and distribution.
• Ensure product quality and minimize wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area.
• Comply with food safety and health & safety regulations.
• Assist with stock control and product handling when required.

Bandsaw Operators

• Operate bandsaw machinery safely and efficiently.
• Cut meat products to specified sizes and weights.
• Perform basic machine checks and report faults.
• Follow production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and food safety procedures.

Desired Experience

Meat Cutters

• 1-3 years' experience in a butchery, abattoir, or meat processing environment.
• Experience with deboning, trimming, portioning, and preparing various meat cuts.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.

Bandsaw Operators

• 1-3 years' experience operating bandsaw machinery within a meat processing or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to cut products accurately according to specifications.
• Experience adhering to health and safety procedures.

Overall Experience Preferred

• Experience within the meat industry will be highly advantageous.
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Experience working as part of a production team and following standard operating procedures.
