Snr Functional Tester

A client in Gauteng is seeking a Functional Tester as follows

Responsibilities

• To draft and execute manual Test Plans for a Financial application
• Review requirements and help with technical translation for development
• Prepare Test data for each of the Test Cases and test for software defects
• Align QA activities with overall Project Governance and Risk Management
• Provide Test Plans for UAT and ensure test feedback is escalated

Required Skills

• 7-10+ yrs in Functional Testing / QA, preferably with custom C# Dev apps
• 4-5 yrs exp. with FinTech / Banking apps is also required
• Skills in SQL and API's (web services) are advantageous
• Full understanding of Integration, User Acceptance and Regression testing
• From a Consulting background

Qualifications

• Related certification (ISTQB etc. ) is ideal

Work Arrangement

• This is a 6-9 month full time work contract
• Starting ASAP
• On a hybrid work basis (2-3 days / week on-site)
• At their offices based in Rosebank
