Reporting to the Head of R&D, you will lead the laboratory and drive projects from stability testing to commercial launch. You will lead a team of chemists and get products into production on time.

What you will own

  • Weekly lab plans, project trackers and reporting to the Head of R&D
  • NPD and formulation upgrades from stability through to launch
  • Raw material, packaging and regulatory change projects
  • SOPs, BOMs, MMIs and Change Control documentation

What you bring

  • BSc in a relevant science, a formulation diploma and a postgraduate Project

Management qualification

  • 6 to 8 years in consumer products R&D, including 5 years in management
  • You deliver on deadline and within budget, not just on paper
  • You grow chemists, not just manage them

Your technical toolkit

  • Stability testing and scale-up to commercial batch
  • Syspro BOM and job card maintenance
  • Batch troubleshooting with Manufacturing and QA
