IR/HR CONSULTANT - GEORGE AREA

We are looking for an experienced and driven IR/HR Consultant to join our team in George, Western Cape.

The successful candidate will provide practical HR and Industrial Relations support to the company and its clients, with a strong focus on labour relations, employee relations, HR compliance and client advisory services.

• Provide HR and IR advice to management and clients

• Manage disciplinary, grievance, incapacity and performance-related processes

• Assist with CCMA matters and dispute resolution

• Draft employment contracts, policies and HR/IR documentation

• Advise on South African labour legislation and HR best practices

• Assist with union matters and collective bargaining

• Develop and facilitate HR/IR training

• Support clients with practical HR solutions across the employee life cycle

• Relevant HR, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology or related qualification

• 2–3 years’ practical HR/IR experience

• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation

• Experience with disciplinary and grievance procedures

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong administrative and organisational abilities

• Professional and confident when engaging with management and employees

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client matters

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel

Advantageous

CCMA experience, disciplinary hearing experience, union/collective bargaining exposure and previous HR/IR consulting experience.

Remuneration will be determined based on qualifications and relevant experience.
