Finance Clerk

One of our clients in the FMCG / Food Production industry is looking for a Finance Clerk / Accounts Clerk to join their team.

My client is looking for a dynamic and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can add immediate value. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 – 5 Years experience in dealing with supplier invoices, matching invoices to GRV, purchase orders and reconciliations

The position is based in the East of Johannesburg, and we are specifically considering candidates who reside in and around the area

Job description

• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Month end processing
• Reviewing and approving supplier invoices
• Matching invoices to GRV, purchase orders and delivery notes
• Verifying GRV Stock and clarifying discrepancies
• Supplier accounts reconciliations
• Stock / Inventory and crate reconciliations
• Investigating variances
• Capturing of financial transactions
• Ad hoc / general administration support duties

Qualifications required

• Matric
• Bookkeeping Diploma or Certificate, OR any other relevant Finance Qualification

Skills and experience

• A minimum of 2 – 5 Years experience in dealing with supplier invoices, matching invoices to GRV, purchase orders and reconciliations
• Must have 2 -5 Years experience as a Finance Clerk / Accounts Clerk / Creditors Clerk / Finance Administrator
• Must be proficient in Excel
• Must have experience and knowledge with high volume transactions
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment / FMCG / Manufacturing or Stock driven industry

R 240 000 CTC per annum
