Our Client, a leader in the Chemical Industry, seeks to employ a Stock Controller to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.

  • Ensuring accurate stock records and optimizing stock movement within the warehouse or storage facilities.
  • Ensure minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained.
  • Oversee the receiving of raw materials, finished products and other inventory items.
  • Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items.
  • Coordinate regular inventory audits on site.
  • Verify and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, movements and usage.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations and audits.
  • Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted.
  • Responsible for managing and running planned stock taking.
  • Matric certificate.
  • Proven work experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Experience within the chemicals industry (advantageous).
  • Pastel or similar ERP experience (advantageous).
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
