Payroll Supervisor

Our client, a JSE Listed company, is looking for a Payroll Supervisor to join their team reporting to the Group Payroll Manager. The client is looking for an individual that has a vast experience in working in high volume, within a multi division and Shared services environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Management of Payroll across multiple divisions and cost centres
• Ensure and oversee accurate processing of Salaries, Wages, Overtime, Bonuses, deductions etc
• Reconciliations of Payroll to General Ledger and Finance Reports
• Overseeing the processing of new engagements, terminations, increases, leave payouts etc
• EMP 201 and EMP 501 submissions and statutory compliance
• Ensure strict adherence to Payroll cut offs
• Ensure Payroll queries across the multiple divisions are resolved timeously

Qualifications required

• A Degree or a National Diploma in Accounting, Finance or any other related Qualification

Skills and experience required

• Minimum of 3 - 5 Years experience on Payroll Supervisory level
• Minimum of 5 Years Payroll experience in a high volume AND in a Multi-division OR Shared Services environment
• Minimum of 3 Years experience working on Sage 300 people (Essential and Non-negotiable)
• Must have experience and strong understanding of South African Payroll legislation
• Must have Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot Tables / Vlookups & Dashboards)

R 600 000 CTC per annum
