We are seeking out 2 dynamic Business Development Specialists to grow our footprint in the KZN North and South Coast areas.
Job Type: Full-time
Location: KwaZulu Natal (1 x North Coast Position & 1 x South Coast Position)

Qualification: Degree holder in Nutrition or Homeopathy with relevant experience in Nutraceuticals / Sales and Marketing or other related, relevant discipline.
Product and concept detailing in the assigned territory.
- Apply Professional Selling Skills at an advanced level and use the appropriate product, concept knowledge and research to detail Health shops and practitioners.
Territory management
- Seek and build strategic relationships with key contacts who can facilitate business development.
- Identify opportunities for new business and ensure satisfactory level of service.
- Plan and execute coverage by means of a regularly updated call cycle, maintain cycle detailing and all other marketing/promotional strategies as per management direction.
Account management
- Maintains an updated, detailed master list of all contacts (as required by CRM system) and classify/grade them based on objective criteria (as defined by management) to establish importance and visiting frequency.
- Timely feedback regarding possible orders to ensure adequate forecasting and stock availability and managing customer expectations in this regard.
Budgeting and reporting
- Provides a weekly call plan to his/her manager and records information on all visits/activities, sample distribution, support literature provided, and training conducted in the CRM system daily.
Compliance
- Adhere to all Your Wellbeing policies and internal regulations.
Position Summary and Objective
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and strategically increase the awareness of and use of the Company products.
- To ensure the organisation meets desired growth and targets Minimum.
Requirements
- Tertiary degree in the discipline of: Healthcare (Nutrition and Homeopathy) / Sales and Marketing or other related, relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the field of Nutraceuticals
Key Knowledge and Skills required
- Technical knowledge, understanding of nutritional ingredients, formulations and botanicals
- Commercial awareness resulting in expertise to develop business cases and strategic sales concepts
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate concisely, clearly, and accurately at all levels resulting in strong relationship management
- Strong planning and organising abilities.
- Outcome and results driven, with the proven ability to deliver against sales targets.
- Team player that can work together to achieve the results.
- Strong customer and service orientation.
- Experience in effective territory management.
- Must have a valid, unendorsed South African Driver’s license and his own car.
- Strong in product detailing and customer product training.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Must be willing to travel and be away from home due to country trips and/or company events.
- Computer Literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at intermediate level essential.
- Strong research and knowledge drive
