We are looking for creative, friendly and caring performers to join our Clown Care team.

Our Clown Doctors bring laughter, play, imagination and positive energy into paediatric care environments.

Reports to: Project Lead – Rowen Smith

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

Project: Clown Care Foundation

Funded by: The National Arts Council PESP7 / DSAC

Duration: October 2026 to January 2027.

Musicians

Puppeteers Storytellers

Pediatric Therapists

What you'll do:

• Interact with children through play and performance

• Perform clowning, music, storytelling and puppetry

• Create fun and positive experiences

• Work as part of a professional multidisciplinary team

• Follow the requirements of the hospital environment
