SOC Vulnerability Engineer

Our client based in Sunninghill requires a SOC Vulnerability Engineer to join their Cybersecurity Team.

The SOC Vulnerability Engineer is responsible for Identifying and managing security weaknesses across the organisation's technology stack to reduce the attack surface.

• Conduct vulnerability scanning and compliance checks on applications and infrastructure
• Analyse scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and communicate impact to system owners.
• Track remediation efforts and verify that weaknesses have been addressed.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security safeguards

• Bachelor’s Degree educated in a relevant field, Masters preferred
• Advanced management and technical certifications are a plus, such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or advanced GIAC credentials (GCIH, GCFA, etc.)
• 4+ years in a security role with a focus on risk assessment or systems administration
