Senior Municipal Engineer - Infrastructure

Our client is looking for a capable engineer who combines strong design expertise with the ability to oversee projects and guide multidisciplinary teams.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng/BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant municipal infrastructure experience. Minimum 5-8 Years experience.
• ECSA professional registration is advantageous.
• Sound understanding of South African municipal engineering practices and standards.

Duties

• Oversee municipal engineering projects from conceptualisation through to completion.
• Develop and assess engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Review drawings, specifications, reports, and tender documentation.
• Provide mentorship and technical direction to engineering staff.
• Coordinate with clients, local authorities, contractors, and professional teams.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and construction-related engagements.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Assist with resolving construction, design, and technical issues.
