We are seeking an Electrician for a permanent vacancy based in KuGompo City (East London), Eastern Cape

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Red Seal Electrical Trade Certificate – Essential
  • Valid Wireman’s Licence will be an added advantage
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
  • Knowledge of preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Mechanical maintenance experience will be an added advantage

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery
  • Fault finding and attending to electrical breakdowns
  • Preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
  • Minimising production downtime through effective troubleshooting
  • Maintaining compliance with electrical and safety regulations
  • General Plant electrical maintenance
