Mid-level Reporter, Business Maverick

The Business Maverick Mid-level Reporter will be responsible for weekly reporting, including breaking news, features, and trend analyses. This role requires developing and pitching story ideas, conducting investigative journalism, building and maintaining a network of contacts, and participating in webinars and audience engagement activities. The reporter will ensure high editorial standards and work closely with the editorial team to produce impactful and visually engaging stories.

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated storyteller with a minimum of four years of experience in Financial, Economic or Business reporting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for uncovering accountability stories that matter to South Africans, uncompromising ethics, the drive to meet tight deadlines, and the curiosity to generate compelling, original ideas.
