Role Summary

We are looking for a proven Truck Tyre & Retread Sales Representative to grow and manage fleet customers across Cape Town and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline, converting opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and driving consistent monthly sales performance across retreads and associated tyre services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan to grow truck tyre and retread sales across Cape Town.
• Source new fleet accounts and convert them into long-term customers.
• Manage and grow an existing customer base through regular visits, reporting, and follow-ups.
• Provide tyre solution recommendations based on fleet usage, load profiles, routes, and cost-per-km targets.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing within approved parameters, and close deals.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Track leads, sales activity, and forecasts (weekly reporting required).
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally.
• Maintain strong knowledge of truck tyre products, retreading cycles, casings, and fleet maintenance requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience in the truck tyre industry within Cape Town (non-negotiable).
• Proven track record in B2B/fleet sales (retreads and/or truck tyres).
• Strong understanding of the Cape Town fleet market and customer decision-makers.
• Valid driver’s license (must be comfortable with daily travel).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-driven, disciplined, and able to work independently with clear targets.
• Professional appearance and customer-first mindset.
