Process Engineer

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our food/ beverage manufacturing client’s facility in the Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process optimisation strategies across beverage manufacturing operations
• Analyse production trends, process data, and key performance indicators
• Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and recurring losses
• Lead process improvement and continuous improvement projects
• Support process validation, trials, commissioning, and equipment optimisation
• Develop standard operating procedures and process specifications
• Provide technical support to production and engineering teams
• Ensure process improvements align with food safety and quality requirements
• Measure and report on the impact of process improvement initiatives

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• BTech Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
• 3 - 5 Years experience in process engineering in food/ beverage industry
• Strong knowledge of process optimisation and manufacturing systems
• Technical, analytical, and project management skills
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and relevant food manufacturing standards advantageous
