Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who takes full ownership of their work, maintains exceptional accuracy, and thrives in a structured, multi-company environment.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial information while supporting the Financial Manager in maintaining strong financial controls across the business.

• Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
• Maintain accurate general ledger, creditors, and debtors
• Oversee and control the creditors’ function
• Review payroll outputs and ensure accurate and timely payments
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register
• Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis
• Prepare bi-monthly cash flow reports
• Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts
• Submit VAT, PAYE, and statutory returns accurately and on time
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and audit packs
• Support the Financial Manager with reporting and ad hoc finance requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping (advantageous)
• Minimum of 4 years’ bookkeeping experience
• Experience on Pastel or similar accounting system
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience working in a multi-company environment (advantageous)
