Senior Test Analyst (SAP Hybris) – 12 Month Contract

Cape Town CBD | (4 days in-office)

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst with strong experience in SAP Hybris to join a dynamic QA team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of a large-scale eCommerce platform, delivering a seamless and consistent customer experience across digital retail channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing for eCommerce applications built on SAP Hybris
• Design, create, and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios using Azure DevOps
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
• Validate critical customer journeys including product catalogue, cart, checkout, payments, promotions, and order management
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure full test coverage
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution
• Provide clear test reporting and ensure adherence to QA best practices
• Mentor junior testers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst in large-scale eCommerce environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with SAP Hybris testing
• Solid understanding of retail customer journeys and digital commerce platforms
• Experience in web and mobile application testing
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps (test management, defect tracking, reporting)
• Experience with API validation and data integrity checks
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant IT qualification
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
• Experience within retail or consumer-facing digital platforms
