Who are we hiring?

We are looking for an energetic, driven, and eager-to-learn individual to ensure that the books of account are kept accurately to represent the position of the company. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail and have the ability work both independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time position, based at our Head Office in Cape Town.

· Accruals and prepayments

· Accounts payable invoice capturing and reconciliation

· Maintaining fixed asset register

· Allocation of payments

· Daily, weekly and monthly accounting and processing up to trial balance

· Reconciliations of cash books and bank balances

· Reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including intercompany balances

· Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports

What are we looking for?

· Matric plus degree in accounting

· Minimum 1 years relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience

· High level of attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent communication skills, and willingness to learn

· Strong organisational skills

· Decent excel knowledge, and experience in Xero Accounting Software preferable

· Backed up by verifiable references

What is the bottom line?

· Salary of between R20 000 – R24 000, depending on proven track-record and experience.
