Field Merchandiser (x3)

Introduction

Our client, a well-established national player in the FMCG and retail accessories sector, is looking to appoint 3 x Field Merchandisers in the Western Cape.

This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on in-store execution, stock management, and merchandising excellence across a portfolio of retail stores.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure allocated shelf space is maintained, optimised, and fully merchandised
• Maintain correct stock levels at all times within stores
• Implement and execute planograms and merchandising standards
• Monitor best-selling and slow-moving products
• Work closely with the Sales Representative to maximise in-store sales performance
• Conduct daily store visits in line with structured routes
• Take and submit before and after merchandising photos
• Complete and submit daily call reports
• Ensure maximum productivity across routes
• Report store or customer-related issues to management
• Maintain a high standard of product knowledge and presentation

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG merchandising or retail environment
• Experience working with planograms and in-store displays
• Proven ability to manage multiple stores and routes
• Strong understanding of retail operations and stock control
• Valid driver’s license (non-negotiable)
• Must be based in the Western Cape

Package & Remuneration

• R6 000 (based on experience)
• Full-time, permanent position
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (07:30 – 16:15, with flexibility required based on operational needs)
