Technical Sales Representative - Mining / Diesel Engineering

A well-established company operating within the mining and industrial sector is looking for a Technical Sales Representative based in the Steelpoort area.

The successful candidate must be locally based in the Steelpoort / Burgersfort / Lydenburg region and have strong experience in technical sales within the mining or construction industry.

•Promote company services and solutions to mining and industrial clients

• Ensure the company is listed as a local supplier on vendor lists for mining clients in the region

• Identify and develop new business opportunities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients

• Report leads, tenders, and quoting opportunities to management

• Conduct regular client visits and meetings

• Maintain and update the customer database and sales records

• Gather competitor and market information to support sales strategy

Matric (English & Afrikaans)

Valid driver’s licence

Minimum 3–5 years technical sales experience in the mining or construction sector

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, motor engineering, mining machinery, or earthmoving equipment

Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must currently reside in the Steelpoort / Burgersfort / Lydenburg area

• Ability to build strong relationships with mining clients

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Willingness to travel within the region and visit client sites
