Technical Sales Representative (Mining / Engineering)

A well-established company operating in the mining and industrial sector is seeking two experienced Technical Sales Representatives to join their team in Gauteng and Rustenburg.

The successful candidates will focus on developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the mining and construction industries, particularly relating to diesel engines, motor engineering, and truck rebuild services.

• Promote company services to mining and industrial clients

• Ensure the company is listed as a preferred supplier on vendor lists

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities

• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers

• Report leads, tenders, and quoting opportunities to management

• Conduct regular client visits and meetings

• Maintain and update the customer database

• Gather market intelligence on competitors and industry trends

Matric (English & Afrikaans)

Valid driver’s licence

Minimum 3–5 years technical sales experience in mining or construction sectors

Knowledge of diesel engines, earthmoving equipment, or mining machinery

Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must be based in Gauteng or Rustenburg

• Target-driven and results-focused

• Excellent client relationship management skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory

• Willingness to travel within the assigned region
