Architectural Technologist / Draughtsperson - Cape Town

Join a well-established architectural practice in Cape Town as an Architectural Technologist or Draughtsperson. We are seeking a technically skilled professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience and strong Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency to contribute to a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential architectural projects.

• Prepare high-quality architectural drawings and technical documentation using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Produce municipal submission, tender and construction drawings.
• Assist with project documentation across all project stages.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and other consultants.
• Ensure drawings comply with client requirements, statutory regulations and industry standards.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections where required.
• Resolve technical detailing and drawing queries.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within programme and budget.

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology or a related qualification.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience as an Architectural Technologist or Draughtsperson.
• Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong technical detailing and construction documentation skills.
• Experience producing municipal submission and construction drawings.
• Sound knowledge of South African building regulations and construction methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
