Pinetown. Established business within the Clothing industry is seeking a CAD Marker, Grading and Ratings Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will have 3–5 years' experience in a similar role, be proficient in Lectra grading and marking , and have the ability to work accurately under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and optimise bulk production markers using Lectra CAD
  • Generate accurate marker ratings, fabric consumption reports and utilisation percentages
  • Grade garment patterns according to customer specifications and company standards
  • Maintain CAD pattern libraries, marker files and version control
  • Liaise with Pattern Makers, Merchandisers and Production teams to meet production deadlines
  • Amend markers and patterns as required for production changes
  • Identify opportunities to improve marker efficiency and reduce fabric waste
  • Support continuous improvement of CAD systems and processes

Requirements

  • Matric
  • 3–5 years' experience in CAD marking, grading and ratings within the clothing industry
  • Proficiency in Lectra grading and marking
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
