Site Manager / Contracts Manager

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Site Manager / Contracts Manager to join our client's growing construction team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering civil infrastructure projects, with particular emphasis on township infrastructure works and reinforced concrete construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction activities across multiple project phases.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Manage labor, subcontractors, plants, and material resources.
• Monitor programme timelines and implement corrective actions where required.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality assurance standards.
• Liaise with engineers, consultants, and clients throughout project execution.
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification
• Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering construction projects.
• At least 10 years’ experience with township infrastructure development.
• Strong understanding of concrete structures and associated construction practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to motivate and manage site teams effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
