Divisional Manager - Cleaning

We're hiring: Divisional Manager – Cleaning (Century City) R30 000 - R40 000 (experience

will dictate) + fuel allowance + cellular and data package.

If you've run commercial contract cleaning sites, read on. If you haven't, this one isn't for you -

and we'd rather say that up front than waste your time.

Koreserv is a property services group covering Cape Town through to Plettenberg Bay. Cleaning,

security, maintenance, pest control and hygiene. We are investing in our cleaning division, and

we're bringing in someone to support our operations director to drive the success of this

strong unit.

What you'll do

• Support our Cleaning Operations Director in running and growing the division

• Manage Operations Managers, each with their own site portfolio, supported by the Director

• Hold your own portfolio of key clients

• Own the numbers that matter: service quality, retention, labour cost and productivity

What you need

• 3–5 years in commercial contract cleaning, with multi-site responsibility. Non-

negotiable

• You know the trade - methods, frequencies, chemicals, machinery, and how to build a

labour schedule

• You can cost a site and hold the margin

• Real people management experience with cleaning teams and supervisors

• Valid driver's licence and your own vehicle (business fuel covered)

Contract cleaning is a difficult business to learn, and we don't have the runway to teach it. Experience is the whole game here.
