SBS Brokers is expanding our Knysna office, and we are looking for a qualified and experienced Personal Lines Underwriter to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a professional, client-focused brokerage where service excellence and teamwork are at the heart of what we do.

• Handle personal lines underwriting amendments

• Respond to client and broker enquiries

• Assist walk-in clients with their insurance requirements

• Assist with compliance requirements and the activation of new business

• Deliver exceptional service while supporting our Personal Lines team

• Valid Matric Certificate

• Class of Business (Short-Term Insurance)

• RE5 qualification

• Previous Personal Lines underwriting experience

• Valid Short-term Insurance qualification

• Experience working on insurer platforms such as Santam, Old Mutual Insure and similar insurer systems will be advantageous

• Experience using the Cardinal system will be beneficial
