Operations Manager

We are seeking a Client Centric Operations Manager for our Pharma division in PE.

Qualification

• Grade 12 Certificate
• 3-year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 6

Knowledge and experience

• 8 – 10 years Seafreight and Airfreight experience in Freight Forwarding Industry of which 2-3 years were in a supervisory capacity
• INCO Terms. Process knowledge on the movement of goods throughout the supply chain
• Basic international trade principles
• Critical thinking skills, problem solving techniques, excellent time management skills
• Delegation, coaching, mentoring and counselling
• Encouraging-motivating a comfortable working environment
• The ability to organise a team effectively and efficiently
• Execution of functional business objectives and strategies
• Understanding of international currencies
• Freight forwarding and clearing document flow procedure
• Computer literacy (Ms Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• External Business Environment. Customer centric
• Good communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Sound Administration skills. Financial acumen
• Change management ambassadors
• Managing and resolving conflict. Action and result orientation
